6. Create a Vision Board

A vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.

Using your Personal Mission Statement and the internet, I want you to find images that represent your highest goals and dreams.  Where do you want to live? What kind of house do you want? What kind of car do you want?   Print these images.

Now choose three words that you want to be defined by, print them out in large colorful font.

Now take all that you have printed and paste them onto a single board or single sheet of paper.  This is your vision board.  If you have done it correctly it should be a powerful and moving piece of imagery to you.  When you look at it you should feel motivated and connected to your higher self.  You should be able to visualize your self living the life that this board represents.

7. Create an Affirmation List

Positive affirmations are short positive statements that can help you focus on goals, get rid of negative, self-defeating beliefs and program your subconscious mind. They can be used to re-program your thought patterns and change the way you think and feel about things.

Write a list of 5 positive statements that will help you feel positive and empowered to create the life you have visually represented on your vision board.

Post this list next to your vision board in a place that is unavoidable, where you will see it every morning and every evening.

8. Building Successful Habits

Review

By this time you should have completed your quizzes and got some clarity and insight into your own personality and potential and dreams and goals.  You should have 'signed' the contract and committed yourself to this challenge.  You should have made a vision board to visually represent what you want to achieve in life.  You should have created an affirmation board with positive statements that will keep you positive and motivated towards your goals.  You should have put those boards in an unavoidable place in your bedroom or bathroom so that you see it multiple times everyday, when you wake up and when you go to sleep.

Now you are ready to fight against all your years of conditioning and neglect.  We are going to attack your bad habits and replace them with good habits.  A successful person is simply someone with successful habits, and an unsuccessful person is someone who has made a habit of neglect.  If you complete this challenge you may rightfully say you are a warrior, that you are on the battlefield of knowledge, and you are on your way to a healthy and successful life.

How are you doing?

It is very important that you take your time with everything done so far.  Don't try to go to fast.  If you stumble or fail just pick it up again.  Don't Stop.  You can do this.  It is very tough to overcome a lifetime of bad habits.  It is very tough to accept your shortcomings and still work towards self mastery.  But you can do it.  Every human being who has built great habits has gone through the same struggle that you are feeling right now.  Don't give up.  Don't rush yourself.  Don't be too hard on yourself.  Just keep a consistent level of effort.  You will win.
